Adriano and Ronaldo: world of hopes

March 30th, 2006 | By: Euler Costa | 5 Comments »

Emperor Every game that one of our players doesn’t play extraordinarily the world breathes peacefully like a weight was taken from its shoulders. Adriano didn’t score? Hooray! Ronaldo didn’t score? Another hooray! You all should put your mind in your own team and let us get prepared, since nobody wants to play against a weak Brazil, right?

From what I’ve been reading, most people desire to see their country playing against Brazil at the final game of the World Cup, so I assume nobody would like to be in the 1998 French situation, where Brazil was dead. Even Angola would like to meet a strong Brazilian side! So STOP cursing us! Our players still have plenty of time to get well prepared to this World Cup.

Maybe they are in pre-competition stress or something. Even so they are the main players of their teams… I always wonder where is the rest of the group and why aren’t they questioned about their performances.

By the way, Ronaldo and Adriano scored in their last games, ok? How did your national team strikers do?

You never hurde me cursing anybody. As a portuguese, meeting BRA in a final has a lot more weight and meening than simply playing the best and feeding the ego in case there’s a victory. I say goodluck to everybody and may Portugal win…

Sose! I’m not mean! But would you not get tired from people celebrating your players’ faliures all the time?

Anyway, how could I expect to be any different? We won 5 times already, so its just normal this kind of attitude from everybody else. I was just sharing some anger… sorry about that, he he he.

Euter, the last thing I would ever do is celebrate anyone’s failure; and the last thing, in my opinion, you can do is say that any Brazilin players are failures. THE most celebrated players in history have been Brazilian….so when I say oh-oh,(I’m guessing this is what prompted this outburst)I am only showing that the other teams in this group have a fighting chance at success.
I think all of the teams are good, and the group will be very tough, but let’s face it…Brazil has been in the last 3 finals, are the defending champions and are the favourites to win this rumble…

You should be honoured that we are all worried about your players, but I don’t think that it will affect Brazil as a whole if one or two players are not in top form…Brazil is structured to be two deep. no yes?
