Andre Santos to Fenerbahce
Andre Santos has joined Turkish club Fenerbahce. The terms of the transaction were undisclosed. The left back had been linked to numerous Italian clubs prior to this transaction, so it comes as a bit of a surprise. Fernerbache missed out on the Champions League this past season, but they are still a bigger club that could make some noise in the Europa League (UEFA Cup). Andre Santos needs to have a great season in order to solidify his spot on the national team, with Dani Alves and Marcelo competing for the left back position moving forward.

Good move for his career but, I cannot see him beating Alves in the LB position. Alves shown he can play there in the final as a sub and is a free kick specialist for Brazil. Unless Juan or Lucio gets replaced by Alex or Elano, Diego or Ronaldinho forces his way into the team and takes the responsibility for free kicks. Then, I can see him taking the LB Position as its his natural position. However, I feel Marcelo is much better and if he has a good season at Real he could take it.
