No worries mate. Small consolation, even if Brazil don’t win the World Cup, at least the will be the most stylish & attacking team. Even if this counts for nothing inside Brazil, we all enjoy the way Brazil play their football. Pleasure to watch!

Thanks for helping me Martin!!! Did you read this: “they will go there and win the cup so easy”?

Parreira and the Brazilian players are totally against this ‘won already’ feeling (maybe Ze Roberto is the exception). They believe they can win, but other than that it is pure ‘flatulent mouth’.

Marco, Brazil might seem clear favourite (look at weblink below) but just like the Melbourne Cup, a lot of people put bets on who don’t really know too much about the events participants and thus usually, they bet the favourite, which lowers their odds even more.

All that means is that it’s better for you, as your Italians are at a great price! And if your Italians are as good as you state (and they are good) then you will win both ways….World Cup and clean up with the odds.

omg i think martin really has no idea ….. BRAZIL ARE THE NUMBER ONE FAVOURITES .. THEY ALWASY SAY THERE THE OUT AND OUT FAVOURITES .. THE Odds to win for brazil is like 2.50 where as argentina is like 13 and italy 11 and england like 9 (which i thinks rubbish)

Hey Euler, don’t worry man, everyone is entitled to their opinion and some you value more than others. After reading a lot of comments in the last week, I have come to realize that Marco is so pro Italy and his comments reflect this accordingly, sometimes without making a lot of sense.

Traditionally, at World Cups there are usually about 5 or 6 real favourites (Brazil, Argentina, Italy, England, Germany and maybe France) but more often than not, the world in general sees Brazil as the ultimate favourite.

In saying that, favourite only means that in words, it does not translate to cup success!

oh my god .. are the brazilian players just the biggest creamers … i mean they recon they will go there and win the cup so easy — and why are they always the favourites??? Italy clearly has a better team .. and after they destroyed both germany and Holland in the past 8 months they should be — o well lets hope we see brazil go out in group round

Larissa is right, we want it very much. This is a very fertile moment in Brazilian football. Talents like Ronaldinho, Robinho, Fred and Adriano absolutely deserve to be BIG this year.

Argh I wish I could see them train! Thanks for the updates Euler, I’ve become completely addicted to your blog.. I’m glad they practice with joy, I think its when the pressure becomes all consuming that errors occur.. this just increases my confidence in their success in Germany!
