Brazil-Peru U-17
Another game, another easy victory for the under 17 squad. The team beat Peru yesterday 3-0, with goals from Gérson (Gremio), Phillipe Coutinho (Vasco) and Wellington (Fluminense). They will be in action on Thursday at 7:00 eastern against Colombia, again on Gol TV. The past week has seen increased speculation on the future of Wellington, with several media outlets reporting that he could be on the verge of a transfer to Arsenal. This would be a tremendous opportunity for the young midfielder. Arsene Wenger has proven to be a master at developing young players. Normally I would be wary of an immediate move to a big club for such a player, but not in this case. It was additionally reported that Chelsea had a scout in the stands watching both Wellington and left back Dodô.
Brazil is the leader in Group A which features Bolívia, Colombia, Peru, and Paraguay. Group B features Argentina and Uruguay on top, with Chile, Venezuela , and Ecuador trailing.
Squad: Luís Guilherme, Crystian, Gérson, Sidimar, Dodô, Elivélton (Felipinho), Carlão, Phillipe Coutinho, Wellington (Dudu), João Pedro, Zezinho (Fernando)
I read about this move earlier today, I think it was the Daily Mail first reporting this was going to happen. Its a great move for him and Manchester United. I think Sir Alex has done a great job developing younger players, and has shown a lot of patience with them. He won’t have to be rushed into things for a couple of years.

Brazil U17 lost to Columbia U17 0-2. Hope this lost make them know that they still have long way to go and not to get cocky after big win over Peru and Paraguay. It’s better lost now rather then lost in world cup later. Brazil needs to play like a team not just depends on star player like Coutinhno, Dodo or Wellington.

Duvel, there are reports that United have snatched up Dodo. if the rumors are true, what do you think about the move.. I think him, Fabio & Rafael will become a great defensive trio for United.
