The left back has a curse. I’d try more Marcelo and Fabio Aurelio. Andre Santos is no solution.

Thanks for the commenet jzlim. You’re right Andre Santos probably could have attacked more, however the game was over so early, and the U.S. was so weak on the other side that he was fine how he was. I understand why Dunga wants a defensive midfielder like Gilberto Silva on the pitch. He’s there to track back when Maicon is attacking. However, he is way too slow, and never gets back in time. I know some would like to see Hernanes replace him, but there are concerns he is too attack-minded, although he is a great player. Denilson was a little inconsistent this year at Arsenal. Lucas at Liverpool didn’t impress to much this year. Josue…lets not go there. So you see, none of the options are perfect. If you ask me, Hernanes should get the look. One other person to keep at eye on is Sandro at Internacional, who I think is becoming a really great player as well.

Totally agreed with you Duvel!!!! Maicon was so excellent with his dribble and assist. Definitely man of the match. But i still bit disappointed with Andre Santos. As your said i think he should be more adventure in the attack. Cause he got great Felipe Melo cover for him. As for Ramires, he is getting better every match. It is time for him to show the world what he can offer more. I still wonder why Gilberto Silva still on the staring lie-up. No replacement or plan B for him!? Nilmar should been given more time same as Pato. Julio Baptista keeped the ball for too long but his physical is very strong. Maybe he can replaces Gilberto. Kaka seems very exhausted in second half. Overall performance was ok but still not good enough to beat Spain.
