Today Kaka was asked if Brazil will start the World Cup with 60% of its potential, as Parreira was saying. He answered that he believes more in 75 to 80%.

It looks like Parreira is trying to lower the expectations, but if Kaka is saying that we won't be 100% too, there must be some truth in it. As Martin said, other teams might have the same issues as well.

Euler, As for the Aussie game, we had 4 guys out due to injury (Kewell, Aloisi, Cahill and Kennedy). Other than that, Hiddink tried Kalac instead of Schwarzer. We should have all back ready for the first game with only Kewell the man who might not be 100% fit. But when you get to the World Cup, I doubt if everyone is 100% and those who are not play on the rush of being at the World Cup and representing your nation.

I doubt the Brazilians are interested in $$$ when playing for Brazil and dribbling out of defense. More likely, it's where is the back of the net!

I love reading quotes like that. Especially when they come straight from the horses mouth.

Money? Players that play only for money go to the pitch with that another-day-in-the-job faces. Our guys go there to have fun most of the time. Every player work for money but the Brazilians surely seem to get an extra kick out of it. Anyway, their minds can think what they want, but I know that in their hearts there is a big nation with big hopes.
