Brazil’s Finest

February 2nd, 2006 | By: Euler Costa | 3 Comments »

People are starting to elect the best of their national teams. I’ll be blunt about this: Fifa got it right. Ronaldinho is the best amongst our 5 forwards. You disagree???

Ronaldo has a great personal history, with the knee injury and the breakdown on 98, he was the 2002 hero. Fifa changed the way Golden Ball was awarded (thank God) after that final game. Don’t forget he was at 1994 World Cup too, at the bench, but experience counts!

Kaka is an outstanding player. I’ve read that people call him “prince” in Milan. He is young and the girls love his looks.

Ronaldinho (little Ronaldo) has been crowned again by Fifa. He is the best today and most Brazilians agree. Sometimes these superstars are better at their club than in the Selection. Barça or Brazil? Let the English answer this.

Adriano, the “Emperor”… today he is welcomed at the Selection, but people considered his talent under the standards of Brazilian tradition. I disagree! This is the strength we need to score goals against strong defenses.

Do you know Robinho? He has been playing for Real Madrid for less than a year. He is a very young guy and very likely to suffer the pressure of the World Cup syndrome.

Here at Brazil a lot people have different opinions about the best of Brazil. Girls like Kaka. Guys like Ronaldinho. I’m divided. Adriano is a major hunter of goals while Ronaldinho paints masterwork moves. But I’m betting on Robinho as the new Brazilian talent. He can destroy any defense! As I said before, I don’t know if we’re going to get this Cup but, please, pay attention to this kid. Robinho is the Brazilian secret weapon.

Robinho is a diamond but still to young to make an impact as the best. For his first year as Real Madrid player, he shows his potential but is still wasting goals and as has to build some stenght(muscular). Give him 2 or 3 years and he will be the best. But for the moment Ronaldinho is the king of football on earth. Plus to see the way he enjoyed playing on the field with his big smile out make him twice the king !

Athenes understands what I feel about Robinho. Nevertheless I believe Robinho will play and rock the world anyway, if he get on the field at the right moment.
