Champions League: Belletti Scored the Winner!

This game was almost exactly what I expected it to be. Of course with Ronaldinho on the pitch I was hoping Barcelona would win. We love him and I believe he deserved it. The real amazing players in the game were Eto’o and Henry. The Camaronese was great and the French was thrilling!

It would be better if Lehmann didn’t get himself expelled, but he did. The referee should have let the play continue, validating the goal, and only then sent the German out. Even so Lehmann is a super goalkeeper and he will be one of the best in the World Cup.

Ronaldinho wasn’t as great as usual, but he surely know how to pass. Eto’o recieved the ball clean in front of the keeper, almost scored. Not only that, but many others. It will not be every game he will do magic, mainly with a strong defence like that, but he can find the right man at the right position, as he did before Lehmann’s red card.

Arsenal were brave, and Gilberto Silva showed why he was called by Parreira to the Seleção but, after scoring, they tried to do the ‘defense only’ tactic, or what I like to call the ‘anti game’. They did a good job for some time, almost scoring in fast counter attacks.

Barcelona did a great job under the rain, with Edmilson having a great performance. The golden moment was left to the great Brazilian defender Belletti, scoring the final winner. Parreira will have headaches from hearing journalists asking about that.
