Japan countdown

June 22nd, 2006 | By: Zé Fernando | 2 Comments »

Brazil plays Japan in about 7 hours, see the preview here. Parreira didn’t give any hints on the squad formation yet, said he’d only announce it immediately before the game – this probably means he’ll try some changes, because he usually says he’ll just use the main squad with no mistery. On the other side, Zico is pretty much serious about the game and wants Japan to win.

My prediction is 2-0 in favor of Brazil. Japan had a good team but they just seem lost as of lately. Your thoughts?

I know Japan will be desperate to win but I believe our defense can hold them back. They will attack all the time opening spaces for our attack to work. BRA 3 JPN 0.

Brazil is goin to dominate group F with a win over Japan, sending Zico and his team with their tails between their legs with a humiliating 6-0 lose. This is possible if Brazil can work their magic and show the world why they are the 5 time winners of the World Cup.
