Keirrison on the Move?
Highly rated forward Keirrison, of Brazilian club Palmeiras, appears to be close to a move to Barcelona. The club confirmed there is an offer on the table, and it might be too good to turn down. Former national team coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo parted ways with the club yesterday over the handling of the Keirrison situation, which leads one to believe that this deal is likely to go through. I have no problem with this move so long as Barca sells one of their forwards. Keirrison needs to play next season because I believe he has a great chance of being with the seleção by 2010 if he is on a pitch.

Barca will loan him to Valencia as part of luring David Villa. I would loan him and Bojan to Valencia for a season and then buy Villa. Its true he needs to play regularly. Or he’ll turn like Bojan. Good talent; wasted

You’re absolutely right Joel. That would be an interesting transaction if they did loan him out. But then what after a year? If Eto’o leaves I will feel better about this.
