Brazil Flying

Man, I’ve seen some fanatic people around this blog, but this is much more radical: some Brazilians are booking flights to Berlin just before the World Cup final! I wonder if it’s so hard to get a plane ticket just a week before. Let’s wait to see if Brazil goes to the semi-final, at least, right? But nooo, some people are so overconfident that they are reserving the slots now as we read. I surely didn’t expect this kind of behavior from Brazilians. After Spain 82 people should have learned that anything can happen. After France 98 too, of course.

May the luck be with them!

They must have read your reply to Bobby McMahon and then booked their tickets online. I was ready to hand Brazil the trophy after reading what you wrote.

Really? That’s funny! I don’t want to see Brazil as favorite as it is now, but at the same time I can’t let people badmouthing us all the time, right?

From what I’ve seen among my Brazilian friends and family, the confidence is at it’s highest ever — I am not really shocked with this news. I bet there is already merchandise with six stars already…..

The ‘Rumo ao Hexa!’ slogan is all around us now. Almost every advertising piece manages to insert it next to their products.

‘Rumo ao Hexa!’ = ‘Foward to the sixth title!’
