I think Vagner Love’s national team performances have left a lot to be desired. He got many chances early in the Dunga era. I know very recently Dunga mentioned him when talking about Brazil’s depth at the position so he’s definitely still on the radar.

Do you have any idea why Vagner Love isn’t on Dunga’s squad. True the Russian League has just started but in the Uefa Cup he shown great talent. Netting 11 goals. Plus, he’s been on more form then Adriano

Diogo is a solid player with a bright future ahead of him. There were many players who I could have put on this “future” list, including Neymar. I just put some players who have received some of the more recent attention.

Duvel I’ve been following Simplicio for a while now since i am a big fan of Serie A, Milan specifically but Palermo usaully captivate my attention with thier direct & total football style of play. i wouldn’t rule it out he is a fantastic footballer, during the previous years he played as a defensive midfielder which didnt really suit him because he was so attack minded but this year Ballardini (thier coach) has decided to play him as trequartista behind the strikers and it has so far paid dividents. he is monumental to that team nowadays. as for the call up I’d much rather have him in the squad then Josue, Gilberto or crap Miniero, it all depends on how Dunga would want to use him because we have enough creating attacking midfielders as it is. but knowing Dunga i think he’ll recieve a call up before 2010.

You’re right there is some depth here, personally I would not mind seeing a 4-3-3 with Kaka being inserted at right forward, and Pato up top. However, I don’t think we’ll be seeing that anytime soon. Samuel, one player I wanted to get your opinion about for a future call up is Palermo’s Fabio Simplicio. I know he’s a midfielder so this post might not be the best place for the question. He’s had a great year, any chance he’d get a call?

we are so deep when it comes to fowards its not even funny, it cant be any more obvious that Pato should be recieving more chances to prove himself with Brazil. for me Fabiano is a must up front for us over Adriano, as he is more effective at opening spaces for Robinho and most importantly is more clinical in front of goal. I blame Dani Alves for his rut at Seville right now. as for players of the future how does a Pato-Keirrison-Walter trio sound come 2010, not bad enh?
