Quotes for Ronaldinho

I was gladly surprised by the international (and national) response from the press about Ronaldinho’s merits in the game against Chelsea. I mean, everybody knows what is he capable of by now. I agree that his goal was amazing, but what is the fuss all about? Anyway, it’s good to read these kind of feedback. Even Chelsea players recognize he is fantastic!

“Genius Ronaldinho revenges Barcelona against disappointing Chelsea” (L’Equipe - France)

“Indispensable Ronaldinho” “Future champions of England could do nothing against Spanish Leader that had the best player of the world on their side” (Le Parisien – France)

“Main responsible for Barcelona’s revenge against Chealsea” (Le Figaro – France)

“Ronaldinho is able to transform pressure into fun creating danger from the purest show” (Marca – Spain)

“He is the man that makes the difference between a team that plays well and another that is really memorable. He alone can decide one game” (Frank Rikjaard - Barcelona’s Coach)

“He dazzled the spectators and opened the score with a spectacular action” (El 9 – Spain)

“The Brazilian character that scored a “golazo” (super goal), eliminating Chelsea, was revered by the almost 100.000 fans at the Camp Nou stadium.” (O Globo – Brazil)

“Rikjaard style allows Ronaldinho to potentialize his innate talent and his unbalanced football skills” (Michel Platini – Italian superstar)

“Ronaldinho is technically very good, but also very strong physically. He was against three players and I could not stop him. After that goal everything ended for us” (John Terry – Chelsea player)

“I would love to face him again because I like to play against the best players. Ronaldinho is on his way for making history.” (Frank Lampard – Chelsea player)

“Master Work” “Ronaldinho’s golazo started the delirium” “Frank Rijkaard has in his hands an invaluable player named Ronaldinho” (Mundo Deportivo – Spain)

“Special Ron” “Wonder strike KO’s Mourinho” (The Sun - England)

euler, you’re from brazil so you don’t understand. the way football is played in brazil is not the way it’s played anywhere else, meaning it’s not the norm. everybody lucky enough to watch these players therefore is totally enthused over their riveting display of skill and art.

for you it’s a different story, you’re used to it, haha.

cheers,
t.

Hey Tomi! Von wo kommst du aus Deutcshland?

I know Ronaldinho is amazing, in a league of his own, not normal, but didn’t we all know that already? In 2005 he was elected for the second time the best player in the world, so…

It seems that people didn’t recognized that until the match against Chelsea.

But “danke” for your funny comment!
