Real’s party will aid Robinho.

February 4th, 2006 | By: Euler Costa | 3 Comments »

Today Real Madrid was on TV. Beckham, Zidane, Ronaldo, Robinho, Roberto Carlos and Cicinho were like crazy demons against Espanyol. What a delight to see so many first class players working together. The first period was great, with 3 goals. Imagine this team on the World Cup! That would be cool to watch. Real really reminded me of the Brazilian style with their fast and short passes.

It is very cool to have so many of our players with their top level colleagues. I know some people don’t like Cicinho, but he was very useful in this game. He passed the ball to Ronaldo score the third goal and passed to Zidane score the fourth. He was all around the field.

Watching Robinho play got me wondering if he is ready for a World Cup. He is getting a very good international experience in the Spanish championship and he must go to Germany to collect World Cup experience. There we’ll see if he can handle the weight of the yellow shirt.

At the same time he must not get injured. He was being hunted by Espanyol’s angry players. Sometimes his fun moves have this effect on his victims. Some may get angry but the fans went nuts. It is absolutely beautiful to hear the roar of a happy crowd. They sang! I don’t know if he was very effective to the result of the game (4:0) but he surely is an important ingredient of that party’s magic.

Was it a joy to watch them get slapped up 6-1 too??I found it quite hillarious a team with a payroll like Real Madrid takes a pounding from the “Giant Killer” Saragosa

It’s allways a pleasure to see the galacticos falling down. I have never been a fan of the addition of stars to the detriment of a team. I hope the Madrid aficionados will remenber that when time to elect the new president come and I hope Florentino Perez will be showned the door.

Kris is Argentinean, right? Start building your conspiracy theory on Real Madrid’s 6:1 failure now. You can’t deny it’s at least strange. Maybe Fifa likes Saragosa… Maybe Nike will sponsor Saragosa next year… Maybe Martians will recover old Argentinean players to revive old glories… (oh my… (can’t even use the word God anymore) lord)

What does this post have anything to do with Real’s defeat? The pain! The pain!!!
