Rio after Australia
I watched the second match in a friend’s house. Everyone had the Mané Sagaz green and yellow shirt on so it was a little funny. The first half of the game was absolutely terrible. Nobody was playing like it was for real. I could see no goal would result from any Brazilian move. I was scared the ‘beJesus’ out of me watching the Australians roaming so free near our goal. I never heard (or spoke) so many ‘curse words’ in such a short period of time before. I was embarrassed with the poor performance of our team! Look what our beloved Seleção has to offer!!! With THIS team we expect to win the Hexa? It just can’t be done!!! Well, sometimes our team grows during the competition, like in the Confederations Cup… who knows?
Reading around this blog I saw many people saying that the ref was biased to call everything against Australia. I’m neither blind nor deaf, so I could see that happening a little. But the ref seemed blind when that criminal Grella left the brand of his shoe stamped in Ronaldo’s skin. In many other occasions the German should have taken more drastic measures too, so I believe at the end it was not a decisive factor to the match final result.
The first stage is done, gratefully. We are on the round of sixteen already and that is absolutely important. Zico is one of the greatest football legends in the world but he brings bad luck for our national team. I’m his biggest fan but the truth must be told. Maybe Brazil will (knock on wood) lose to Japan due to this but his team is not really doing a good job in Germany so I’m not that worried.
Anyway, I watched the first half of the French match against Korea and decided to report the Brazilian mood after our pitiful display of style against the Australians. It was hard to find a parking space but that’s not important. We won, but it didn’t feel like victory to me, but soon after the game every Brazilian was eager to party, of course. I took some pictures at Leblon to report to you all. I hope you enjoy the images!

Lucky me! I found Australian fans having fun here too!!!

First time here on your site. I am delighted to find your wonderful website online. Visit my sites, please:

It was obvious from the video replay that both Brazil’s goals should have been disallowed for being offside…
Ronaldo was offside when he recieved the ball in the first instance and thus the ball should have never been passed to Adriano –> no goal

Very nice! great Fotos!
We waiting for more!!
