Romario is a primadona. He was very good, probably one of the best, but his attitude has always been wrong. He thinks he is bigger than the team and that’s why so many coaches have allienated him. And rightly so. He got what he deserved in 02 when Scolari didn’t call him up. I did not feel sorry for him when he was crying on national TV. He made his own destiny.

Zico on the other is a lot more humble. He knows he is good but he doesn’t go announcing it everywhere. I truly doubt he is envious of Romario. He has many accomplishments himself. To win a World Cup you need to have some amount of luck.

I agree with Celo. Zico has nothing to do with it. But more important is the source of my information. I heard this information directly from Zagallo’s lips. Why would you doubt him? I know I don’t.
