It is true, Argentina has been cheated by referees against Germany, you brazil has received favours from referees, from FIFA, with your 180 Million people, it is not equitable to play against you, you should have won each World Cup, but you are loosers.

Personnaly I am French but I know football, and I never bet for Brazil:

You said it right. Brazil was not at all impressive in this world cup except for the match against Japan. They didn’t jel as a team, there was no passion, a group of talented players thats all, not a team. They could’ve been beaten by croatia or australia or ghana. I hoped they’ll eventually put things in order and play well, but it never happened. This time brazil gave us nothing to be proud of, no beautiful football, not even a fight. They tried to play euro style and they couldn’t do it. I was horrified to see Dida repeatedly kicking the ball into the other half only for the french to push it back upon the brazilian goal. And only in the last 10 mins when they started to play like brazil they seemed to be effective, but it was too little too late. And pariera, please stay away for brazil, for the sake of brazil and for the sake of it worldwide fans.

okk yaa…the whole point of football is to unite the world regardless of what war we’re in, or what is causing us to fight. seeing u guys act like this just disapoints me and alot of fans here in the U.S.

@Sofia: we love Brasil in Portugal but we didn’t reach the semi’s because we have a brasilian coach and Brasil born player. We have an excellent coach (probably the best), like we had in the past when we also went to the semi’s of several european champs. Eusebio was also born in Mozambique (oficially portuguese at the time) and I don’t know of any stronger patriotic/portuguese symbol, for us the portuguese… Yes…

Although extremelly proud of our nationality, we don’t tend to the “Le Penn” type of thinking…

I tend to agree with you. Although I do not by any means hate Brazil, and I never will. But I do agree that Brazil’s performance this past summer was quite awful, especially by Brazilian standards. However, I think this can all be traced to, and blamed on Parreira. He completely messed up the team. What he needed to realize, is that though people like Cafu, and Roberto Carlos are seasoned professionals, they are too old. 36 is by no means old, but in the soccer world, it is well overdue for retirement. He held on too much to the players valiant pasts, and failed to realize that they were no help in the present. And unfortunately, this led to Brazil’s quite untimely demise. What Brazil needs is fresh minds, and fresh faces out on the pitch, and they’ll be good to go for 2010.
