Shorty Scored! Go Romario!

Miami FC won 3:2 Portland Timbers saturday. Romario, our 1994 WC hero, scored the first goal of the team equilizing the game (1:1) and scored the winner, at the last minute! I know we have many Romario admirers reading the blog every day, so here is the link about the game. I can only imagine the reaction of the fans watching that little guy with grey hair deciding the game with a header. The guy is 40 years old and is still doing what he knows best.

Now his hunt for the 1000th goal is a little closer. I’m not sure about how many goals he must score now, but I think the number is around 32. I wish him luck, but he is already a legend with or without this mark, of course.
