Sleeping in Benches!

It is so lovely how Germans are absolutely organized. I studied in a German school for some time and I remember laughing about that a lot. The greatest fun I had was reading about the schedule of buses and trains. At the bus stops we would see a sign with minutes of precision. To stadium: 6:37, 7:18, 7:36 and so on. Same things with trains: To Berlin, departures at 8:49, 13:34 and 16:02. I was rolling on the floor filled with pain in my cheek muscles and abdomen. Now they will provide tents to fans of the Seleção. I’m not surprised.

Look at that!

Koenigstein Another thing I remember very well was my German language teacher. She was called “Frau Hackstein” (Miss Breakstone). She used to say “repeat after me” and then she would swing her arms like an orchestra conductor. Oh, help you God if you miss the rhythm of her gestures. By the way, the name is real.

PARTY!!!About the noisy Brazilian crowd that will flood the little Koenigstein, I hope they disturb as much as possible those wealthy and dull residents to show what living is really about. I bet they’ll have a glimpse of the party we usually provide, and their soul will grow. Also I know we will see more than Brazilians there trying to see our team too, so it will be an international noisy party crowd.

Strassenbahnhaltestelle is the coolest word in the German vocabulary. The meaning is common but the sound is wicked. Gesundheit!

Koenigstein? Dull? Teach them what living is all about? Do you even have a clue what you are writing about? Needless to say, you’ve probably never been there. Koenigstein is an amazing town, with people who know what life is about and what true enjoyment means. Even the Brazilians thought so, and upon leaving wrote an article about life there, which was published in ‘Der Spiegel’. From filling the fountains with Champaign after graduation to jetting around the world, if you are in any way looking for the good life, this is where it is at.
