gotta agree with Bruno here, shame on Spain who despite playing much better than the US lacked the finishing ability to kill them off.. i guess we’ll just have to defeat Bradley and his boys once again.

spain is overated the reason why they won the European championship is because they had the Brazilian Marcos Senna to take the pressure of Xavi and Iniesta. Thes and stupidly tried to run with the americans and failed. Brazil is better than them Long live the USA

I wouldn’t say Spain is overrated, their streak had to end at some point. I think a couple of poor performances from Capdevila and Ramos obviously hurt them. When thinking about who are our biggest threats in 2010 I still have them at the top of my list.

I don’t think Spain are overrated(well maybe slightly). But I really wanted to see Spain vs Brazil. I mean I really wanted to see that game. But honestly after the first half of US (vs) Spain I never thought Spain would have anything for Brazil. I don’t know how Brazil will do in the WC but they look great.

i agree watching the way Spain seemed slow in the attack and ball movements in the final third compared to how compact and extremely dangerous we looked againts Italy made me feel extremely confident that we’d creme them in the final. but now it seems like we just have to defeat USA again. a much improved US although i cant see them holding Brazil if we keep this tempo up though.

guys, spain is a good team. they only have one problem: chickening out in important matches. that is historical. the 08 Euro was the exception that makes the rule.
