Some More News and Notes

Filipe_120Deportivo La Coruna left back Filipe is being tracked by Real Madrid. The two clubs have started negotiations over a transfer fee.

Sandro’s long time rumored move to Tottenham has collapsed. The 20 year old midfielder was reported to have a done deal with the club last summer. Sandro is a sensational talent, and some club will eventually wise-up to get a player like him on their roster.

Vagner Love completed his move from CSKA Moscow to Flamengo.

Ronaldinho continued his stellar form today, scoring a hat trick against Siena. His third goal was stunning.

A quick note about something bigger than football. If you are able, and have not already, please give toward the Haiti earthquake recovery efforts.

Hi, Duvel.

Waht do you think of Rondaldinho? Do you think Robinho might be in trouble?

not to down play Dinho put remember people he scored a hat-trick against the worst team in the league, a team who have conceded 41 goals in 20 games, and who were playing with 10-men for more or less the whole match.

but i think he has improved tremendoulsy and can see him back into the fold…

as for Robinho…another awful performance, but you can tell throwing him into the fire right after his injury did not help. his spot in the WC looks in danger of being Nilmar’s or even Patos.

Pachet, glad to hear your family is alright. Thanks for putting the Red Cross number up. I wish I could have given more money than I did. I hope everybody can give a little bit at this time.

As far as Dinho goes, I think he should be on the team, so long as he agrees to some social rules to follow while in South Africa. Dunga loves Robinho, so I personally doubt he would not have him on the team, even though Pato and Nilmar are playing substantially better this year.

Ronaldinho HAS to be on the team. I’m not talking about starting, playing time, or what position he’s in, that can be decided later. But Ronaldinho is just playing too well to be left off now.

Robinho should be included too, but I think Nilmar has to be the front runner for the starting spot.

If Filipe moves he’ll get a first team spot for sure. Marcelo/Arbeloa/Drenthe have not played well on that LB role for sure.

Dinhio must be on the team. Best Brazillian this season so far
