Sun in Weggis, Rain in Rio

Brazilian training goes on. They formed 3 teams but only use half of the field. One team is all attack and the other is all defense. The truth is that this training is like a party. Everyone is showing off their abilities just for fun, just to hear the girls screaming. Some goals were scored and the fans lost their lungs.

As I change the channel, there it is, the final game of the 1994 World Cup. I see both teams lined up in the tunnel, before the match. Romario stares at the light while Baggio stares at him. That is one of the coolest images I’ve ever seen in the World Cup films history. Roberto’s eyes tell an interesting tale moments before the game begins. Both teams fought with their hearts. Too bad it came to a PK decision.

Back to the training, Julio Cesar was playing off the goal, changing passes with Cris. Ronaldinho felt his foot, holding it in his hands, but he was soon back in the game. Adriano scored on Dida after a cool fast pass move. Soon after he scored again after a solo attack. Cicinho is hearing a lot from Parreira, asking him to find more spaces. Cicinho? He is always running! Well, he must know what he is doing.

Julio Cesar is still playing with his feet along with Fred against Rogerio Ceni in the goal. The players are changing all the time. There is a great deal of children wearing our colors, holding our flags. Kaka fell and took some time to get up. The game ends. The weather was not so good yesterday in Weggis. Here in Rio we are under cold weather (21c) and rain is nonstop since monday. I like when the sun gives us a break. Now as winter is near I can turn off the air-conditioner and start removing my winterwear from the bottom of my closet.

Robinho scored just after the defense training begins. We can see 3 forwards against 2 defenders. Great live coverage! I’ve never seen it before. Sixteen days for the WC… but it start to feel like it is already begun.

The smiles from our players is one more reason for me to believe we will do fine. They always sing and dance in the team bus before big games. The more they have fun, the more they play!

There they are again. Earlier they were signing millions of autographs. They will get spasms in their hands from all that signing.
