Video of the Day

He was ranked as the number one rising star in the world by The Times of London. In my opinion he should be in the starting XI ASAP.

He won’t see the field as long as Dunga is patrolling the sideline.

I agree. Dunga mostly likes picking Brazilians who play in Europe. Not matter how over rated they are : Gilberto Silva, Josue etc. Hernanes should be in the starting line up. Also, maybe try out Hulk. He gave United problems and should of got 2 penalties.

those following me, since The Offside times, know him for a very long time. Since the beginning of 08 I ask myself why he’s not with the national team. I actually saw at the stadium his first goal as a professional (2:25 – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKZx0MIGIRA ) and since then have been following him.

But, for Dunga, players cannot be good by playing for traditional Brazilian sides. Instead of playing for Sao Paulo (one of the most traditional in South America), Hernanes would’ve been in the national team if he played for some crappy Ukranian-Russian side or mid-low-level italian-spanish-german side.

btw, the songs in this video are horrible

ya the songs in this clip were bad, it was one of the better clips in terms of video quality…regardless he has better touch than ronaldinho now, and certainly better pace than gilberto silva for god’s sake…i just don’t understand how a player like this gets passed over for the likes of even josue!

Also, I was wondering about Fernandinho? He plays so good for Donestk. Especially, in the Uefa Cup and Champion’s League this season. Has he been called up and failed like Vagner Love? Or has Dunga not chosen him?

Fernandinho is a solid player, who had a breakthrough season for Donetsk last year, and has played an important role for his club in the UEFA Cup. However, he has not been highly discussed in terms of a national team call up. Brazil has a ton of attacking midfield options so it would probably take a move to a bigger club for him to get the necessary attention.

Really hope Dunga can team up him and Felipe Melo in Brazil national team midfield. He will definitely adds more power in attacking.

That is the problem with Brazil so many good players and so many good talent. Unlike England :(

I think that Adriano has the same problem as many of his brazilian team mates. Their morale often let them down. If they can keep their morale high and positive they can outperform any team in the world.
