I’ll make a prediction right here in the Brazilian blog.

Argentina will win this year’s World Cup, without a doubt.

All teams look ordinary but Argentina is simply OUT OF THIS WORLD!

And I am not Argentinean, I AM KENYAN.

While almost everyone is trying to score goals (and this includes Argentina as well), Argentina is playing beautiful football.

THese guys move like a well oiled machine and don’t seem to force it. They have the cohesion, have quick, short, shrewd and crisp passes and they are in sync!

That is what football is.

Brazil had a great team in 2002. Today, they can only yearn for those days. Your game against Croatia was lucklustre. It was lackadaisical and I’ll not talk about your hero Ronaldo.

Game 2 against Australia was quite good. You improved. Let’s hope that like wine, you get better with age.

Personally, I’d love a Brazil/Argentina final and obviously, as a fan since 1986, I’ll be rooting for Argentina as usual.
Theirs is more than a soccer team. It is football clinic. It is byuuutifuuuuul!

That’s a bunch of god damn bullshit!! Brasil is still the best in the world, and will be for the next 12 years!!! How dare all of you show disrespect to an amazing team and an outstanding player and legend such as Ronaldo! His personal life is no business of yours, and although he has gained weight, he is still better than any player in Brasil’s group. Fuck all of you.

brazil are out of competition.

I think they will be out from quarter final because they have easier opponets before quarterfinal.

The second games have provided good indications of the performance of a team.

Argentina played well in the first game but showed incredible performance in the second game.

Italy had a good first game and a very poor second game.

Czechs had very good performance in their first game and became unglued in their second match losing to Ghana.

England, Portugal, Holland and Germany had decent first two games but nothing to write home about even if they achieved the right result.

Spain had a very good first game. We’ll find out how they do next.

Brasil had an OK first game. We’ll see how they play against Australia who are physical and have great stamina and motivation.
