World Cup Wishes

Make a Wish Matt’s list of wishes got me thinking about my own top 10 wish list for Germany’s World Cup. Great idea, Matt!

#10: Parreira confirms Cicinho to rule the Brazilian defenses with Cafu.

#9: Ronaldinho’s predictions about Ronaldo’s success come true.

#8: Emperor Adriano stomps all defensive teams to teach them a lesson.

#7: Lothar Mattäus takes over Germany to give the hosts a chance to win… and to be a baby at home, far from here.

#6: Ronaldo shows up with a proper hair cut and body figure. And mute!

#5: Public executions of racist people become reality.

#4: Argentineans to stop dreaming… Messi better than Ronaldinho???

#3: Ronaldo to stop dreaming about Brazilians forgetting Pele’s generation. We can celebrate the new generation as being the best (if we win again), but we’ll never forget 58, 62 and 70.

#2: Great names of the sport stop saying BS to every direction. Like Lippi saying that Brazil loves to be favorites…??? First, how could we not be? Second, wouldn’t you love to be?

#1: Brazil wins for the sixth time the World Cup “after a brilliant display from both sides” (Pedro P), without penalty kicks and with Ronaldinho mesmerizing the planet.

I'm doing this!

C’mon Euler… Let me dream of a POR vs BRA final (in Germany not in beach football) :-) with POR taking the “jar” home… Isn’t 5 times enough…??? Oh man…

Actually, I “woundn’t mind” (of course I would) POR loosing to Brasil. It’s better than loosing to Greece (yes, it’s still the bitterness of defeat)…

Of course Pedro! Dream on! But like I said once before, we simply are not able to let it go without a fight… we all dream the same dream every 4 years, right?

But I also say, if we lose but playing magic-samba-football, that’s good too.

Euler, You don’t mean that. I know you don’t. Any country that declares a week off work for winning the WC can never be OK with loosing it. You sure you Brazillian??? :-P

But Euler, I don’t expect BRA to loose without a fight. I expect you to win, unless you meet POR in the final. Then I excpect you to loose, with a big fight, and a lot of goals… :-)))

Hey Sose, I admit… who am I kidding… we MUST win, he he he.

We won’t forget the previous Selections and titles: 1958, 1962 and 1970.

Eddie Murphy loves that phrase! But we can’t ignore heroes from the past. They made what we are today. I was born in 71 but their legacy still lives in our hearts, in our souls and our feet.

Not only Brazilians love our game, the world is in love of our attacking fever.

They add 3 amazing titles to our curriculum and that’s why we are the team to beat nowadays.

Respect

#1 should be Brazil getting beaten by Australia, Ronaldo going home early and catching me doing his wife.
