Brazil, Brazil
Brazil has been awarded the 2014 World Cup. It will be a great opportunity for our country. Every people here love the sport and new (or renewed) stadiums will be very welcomed by all the cities chosen to host the event. New roads, subways and railways will bring many benefits too.
About crime in Rio, I’m not worried at all. We just had the Pan-American games and it was a beauty. In the World Cup it won’t be any different. Even the European hooligans will be tamed by the party flavor of the city and it’s people. There are no terrorists here either, which is a major plus.
I believe we will have the best World Cup ever. An event so great that it will be a lifetime experience for those who come take part of it. I’ve read many people saying that it can’t be as perfect as in Germany and I agree, when it comes to infrastructure, but it will surely be better in terms of party. So, to the pessimists I say: time will tell.
To the party people of the world I say: Welcome!
